Deriv copy trading
Deriv copy trading
SFX Hub copies a Deriv trader's contracts onto your own Deriv account as they are placed. It places the copies itself rather than through Deriv's built-in copy trading, so each copied stake is scaled to the size of your balance, and you set a cap on every copied stake and a daily loss limit that stops copying for the day.
You can copy on a Deriv demo account first, free of any fee. Copying does not make trading safer: you take the same risk as the trader, on every contract, without reviewing each one.
01 / How it works
- Link your Deriv account through Deriv's own sign-in page. SFX Hub never sees your Deriv password.
- Choose a demo or a real Deriv account to copy into.
- Browse the traders and pick one whose record fits you.
- Set your trade cap and daily stop, then start copying.
- When the trader buys a contract, SFX Hub buys the same contract on your account, sized to your balance.
02 / How your stake is sized
Your stake is the trader's stake multiplied by your balance divided by theirs. If a trader with a $1,000 balance stakes $10 and your balance is $200, your copy is placed at $2.
Your trade cap sets the most any single copied contract can stake, whatever the trader does.
03 / What you control
- Trade cap: the largest stake any copied contract can use.
- Daily stop: once your losses for the day reach this amount, copying pauses.
- Pause or stop: pause or stop copying any trader at any time.
- There is no separate stop-loss or take-profit for copied trades. Where a trader sets take-profit or stop-loss on a Multipliers or Accumulators contract, your copy carries the same.
04 / Contracts that can be copied
Rise/Fall, Rise/Fall Equals, Even/Odd, Over/Under, Matches/Differs, Multipliers and Accumulators. These are Deriv options and multiplier contracts, mostly traded on Deriv's synthetic volatility indices.
05 / Choosing a trader
Each trader shows a win rate, net profit, number of trades, how many people copy them (and their limit, if they set one), their best trade and when they last traded.
A high win rate on its own can mislead: a martingale strategy wins most contracts and then loses a large stake. Read net profit alongside the number of trades, and copy on demo before you copy with money.
06 / Demo copying
A demo trader can be copied with a demo account. Demo results are kept separate from real-money results, and demo copying is never charged a fee.
07 / Fees
Copying a trader with real money can carry a profit share: a percentage, set by that trader and shown in the app, of each business day's realized profit from copied trades. A losing or break-even day is never billed. The profit share is payable by M-Pesa or crypto within 24 hours; until it is paid, copying is paused. See About and the Copy Trading User Agreement.
08 / Risk
Deriv's options and multipliers are high-risk products. A trader's past results do not predict future ones, and copied trades can lose your whole stake. Never copy with borrowed money or money you cannot afford to lose. SFX Hub is independent and is not operated or endorsed by Deriv.
